This database provides the systematic search for development, composition and size of marine periphyton and fouling at various locations in Germany, Europe and and in long terms world-wide.
Data collection
Most of the data were recorded in research projects of LimnoMar in cooperation with the German Sailing Association (Deutscher Seglerverband - DSV). Other research projects and multiple research projects on antifouling performance by LimnoMar are another data source.
The Fouling-Atlas will try to get world-wide fouling information in the frame of a large data collecting project. We are still searching for partners with support capabilities in data delivery or sponsoring.
